Common questions
How do I delete my data?
Open Settings in the app and tap Delete account and all data. This permanently removes your account, your children’s profiles and all reflections. You can also delete a single reflection (open it and tap the bin icon) or a single child profile.
How do I export my data?
Settings › Export my data. You get a copy of everything as a file.
What happens to my voice recordings?
Audio is deleted automatically right after it has been transcribed. Only the transcript is kept, and you can edit or delete it.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple. On your iPhone open the Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions, choose Reflory and cancel. The subscription stays active until the end of the period you have paid for.
I have a new phone. How do I keep my reflections and my subscription?
Before you switch, link your account with Apple or Google in Settings › Account. On the new phone, sign in with the same account. To get your subscription back, tap Restore purchases in Settings.
How do I change the morning thought or turn off reminders?
Settings › Reminders turns the morning thought and the evening check in on or off. Under Morning note you can choose the time.
How do I change my parenting style?
Settings › Parenting style. Reflory uses it for every question and reflection from then on.
How do I change the language?
Reflory uses your iPhone’s language, English or German. To use a different one just for Reflory, open the iOS Settings app, tap Apps, then Reflory, then Language. The AI answers in the language of the app.
Is my data used to train AI?
No, unless you explicitly opt in under Settings › Help improve Reflory. It is off by default. Details are in the privacy policy.
I found a bug or have an idea. Where do I send it?
Settings › Send feedback opens an email that already includes your app version and device, which helps a lot with bugs. Ideas are also welcome on X at @casparbuilds.
Can Reflory help in an emergency?
No. Reflory is a tool for reflection, not therapy and not a crisis service. If you or your child may be in danger, call your local emergency number (112 in the EU, 911 in the US, 999 in the UK).
